Norman Island, BVI
Norman Island, aka “Treasure Island”, is said to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stephenson’s pirate novel Treasure Island. While the island is uninhabited, it is a very popular destination for day charter and term charter boats.
Norman Island is home to The Caves, a series of three treasure caves you can explore while seeing beautiful coral and schools of tropical fish. Just off Norman Island are The Indians, rated the #1 snorkeling spot in the British Virgin Islands. The Indians are known for swim-through underwater caves and the healthiest coral.
Charter to the Willy T
Did you work up an appetite from all the snorkeling? Check out Pirate’s Bight, with some of the best food you’ll taste on your travels including baby back ribs or Caribbean chicken Roti. Don’t forget to stop for a cocktail or shotski at the famous Willy T, the legendary floating bar, and if you’re feeling adventurous, take a jump off the upper deck of the “pirate ship.” These two stops are in the Bight, the most beautiful bay off Norman Island.
