Sunshine Daydream Charters is an owner operated small business, so you know you’ll be getting the best service possible. Our charters are private, and fully customizable. The day is yours to explore the beautiful Virgin Islands at the pace you desire. Let us help you plan what’s sure to be the Best Day of your Vacation!

All of our charters are private. We do not mix and match groups together. This allows you to fully customize your day, and spend the time YOU want at different destinations. Whether it’s just two of you on the boat, or your family and friends of up to 12, you’ll have the boat all to yourselves. We can combine all 3 boats together for tandem trips of up to 36 guests!

Included in your charter is a US Coast Guard licensed and local St John Captain, top of the line adult snorkel gear, Bluetooth sound system, huge Yeti coolers filled with ice and bottled water, swim noodles for flotation and all the Coast Guard approved safety gear to keep you and your loved ones safe at sea.

British customs fees are approximately $80/per person and need to be paid in cash. On Sunday’s and British holidays, there is an additional $30 charge for the boat (not per person) for BVI customs “overtime” fees. With less than 5 people on board, the fees will be a little higher too. Customs fees are subject to change at any time by the BVI government.

For your charter, you should bring Passports for BVI trips, cash for British customs, towels, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen (PLEASE NO SPRAY SUNSCREEN ON THE BOAT OR USED THE MORNING OF AS IT RUINS THE BOAT UPHOLSTERY AND IS VERY BAD ON THE CORAL).

• CASH for CUSTOMS (approximately $80/person if traveling to the British Virgin Islands) *Additional fees required on Sundays & Holidays*

• Any Snacks or Drinks you would like on board

Sunshine Daydream Charters offers complimentary pick up/drop off from the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay, St John, as well as from the beach at The Westin St John. We also offer pickups at Sapphire Marina in St Thomas for St Thomas visitors and cruise ship guests. There is a $150 fee for pickups in St Thomas at Sapphire Marina, payable directly to the marina office (this is NOT a Sunshine Daydream fee, it is a marina fee).

Parking in Cruz Bay is scarce. There is a free gravel parking lot near the tennis courts just outside downtown. There are also a few different paid lots in town. The best option is the paid parking at the Lumber Yard, which is across the street from the national park dock. Parking near the National Park Dock is very limited. You can drop guests and gear off at the National Park dock, then go park.

All 3 Sunshine Daydream 32ft boats can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. For larger groups, we can run 2 or 3  boats together for parties of up to 36! Charter prices listed are for up to 6 guests. Please add $50/person for any guests over 6.

Fuel prices range from approximately $200-$500 depending on which  charter you’re booking, and where our travels take us for the day. Please note that Sunshine Daydream does not visit the crowded fuel dock at the end of the day like most other boats, allowing you 30 or more extra minutes on the water, snorkeling or having one last Painkiller at White Bay, Jost Van Dyke! Fuel charges are calculated using our electronic fuel gauges.

Sunshine Daydream Charters has a 72hr cancellation policy. Cancellations outside of 72hrs before your charter will be fully refunded. Charters cancelled inside of 72hrs will be charged the full charter price unless the day can be re-booked.

No, but we are never very far from a land-based bathroom facility. Marine bathrooms are in very cramped spaces, with incredibly delicate plumbing. There are well maintained restroom facilities at The National Park Dock in Cruz Bay for use before and after your charter as well.

It is customary to tip your captain 20% of your charter price for an outstanding day. Cash or Venmo preferred.
